Hate Crime Hoaxery is Not a Hate Crime

Interesting news today. It was disclosed that the culprits behind a "White Power" hate crime at a Maryland university were just hoaxing-around. Therefore, there will be no charges brought against them. Hear that? Sounds like if you commit a hate crime, just claim it was a hoax and you won't face any charges, doesn't it? Well, not quite. You see, nobody is simply taking the word of the students that they didn't mean it. These students are being excused from criminal charges because of their Privilege. And what Privilege is that? Two [ ] students at Salisbury University drew a stick figure hanging from a noose on a whiteboard in the taxpayer-funded school’s library, police say. The image also featured the word “Nigger!” (with the exclamation point) and the hashtag #WhitePower.

The Salisbury University Police Department initiated a hate-crime investigation. However, upon learning that the unidentified students are [ ] , authorities chose to file no charges

On Tuesday, school officials announced that two students responsible for the image are [ ]. Officials cited the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, a federal law, as their rationale for not naming the students.

So what word should fill in the brackets? Hmmm? What do you think it is? The answer is in the hashtag ... 


Because race doesn't exist. And because there is a different system of justice for black people. And because no justice, no peace.
