Jason Goolsby: He Dindu Nuffin

I have been eagerly awaiting the return of the BlackLivesMatter movement to their formerly prominent position in the daily propaganda cycle of the Mass Media. I believe that recent missteps on the part of that movement led to a brief cooling off period in the media (see Eye Empress Sekhmet) to give the sheeple's piss poor memories of real events time to reset, so they could return to their bellyfeel support for the truly revolutionary concept that BlackLivesMatter.

Perhaps this event heralds the return of the BlackLivesMatter.

Video of Washington police forcefully restraining black teen prompts protest

Dozens of young people protested in Washington DC on Tuesday after cellphone video emerged showing police aggressively restraining an 18-year-old scholarship student and musician.

Ahhhhh... like slipping into a warm bath. How comforting it is to know that the race-baiting propaganda of the Mass Media has resumed. Before we go any further, consider how the story has been framed for you, before you ever see footage of the event.

1) "Cellphone video emerged." Emerged from where? This event was not reported to the Media who then had to seek out the video from some anonymous source. The video of the event is the source of the Media's story, and the source of the video is the student's friend, who posted the video on social media.

2) The "police aggressively" restrained the victim.

Aggressive: characterized by or tending toward unprovoked offensives, attacks, invasions, or the like; militantly forward or menacing.

We have already been told the police are to blame.

3) "Scholarship student and musician". You don't yet know his name, but you know he was a good boy who dindu nuffin. Like Saint Michael Brown, who was off to college as soon as he finished robbing that convenience store.

Can you believe how much a narrative can be twisted by the Mass Media's propaganda before any real details are revealed? On with the show.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! His high pitched shrieking was most amusing!
Dindu nuffins: 7 dindus in 31 seconds. Not a world record, but still an impressive performance.

Now back to the race-baiting propaganda:

Friends of Jason Goolsby, who is African American, were among those who took to streets in the city’s south-east section to demonstrate against his detention on Monday evening by city officers who were responding to a call alleging suspicious activity outside a bank.

The friend, who was identified in the clip as Mike, posted the video on Twitter on Monday evening. He wrote that the pair had been “harassed and assaulted because ‘someone felt uncomfortable around us’ at the bank”. The footage showed that Mike was also detained by officers after they ordered him to step back. Officials claimed he was “interfering with police”. Neither man was officially arrested.

Open your eyes for just 31 seconds please, "Mike" was interfering with police. Imagine that you, Mr. Propagandist, were at your desk typing away your daily quota of lies, and some outraged  youth came up to your cubicle and started repeatedly screaming at you. Would that not interfere with your work? But not only that, they ordered "Mike" to step back not because he was standing silently in one spot documenting the event, but because he moved toward them while they were restraining a resisting suspect. And why did he move toward them? Because the suspect asked "Mike" to get his stuff. Not such a smart idea to try to take property off of someone in police custody.

Ah, but I am just not bellyfeeling this, am I? Are you, gentle reader? Maybe this will help:

Goolsby is understood to have graduated from Washington’s Richard Wright Public Charter School for Journalism and Media Arts this year. Last December he was awarded a $1,000 college scholarship by Alpha Phi Alpha, the black fraternity [...]

Described by his school as “an aspiring rapper”, he has recorded music under the names Kid Kwesi and Jay Cousteau.

There's that vaunted scholarship again. A black teenager described as "an aspiring rapper"? Who has ever heard of such a thing?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! What a mushmouth bunch of nonsense! I may not be bellyfeeling this story, but I am belly laughing at it.
