Dylann Roof Ruined His Sister's Wedding

Wow, this one is kind of weird -

The sister of the man accused of killing nine people at Emanuel AME Church raised nearly $1,700 to pay for her postponed wedding and honeymoon before pulling the plug on her online funding campaign Thursday amid a swarm of media attention.

Amber Roof started a GoFundMe page this week, asking for $5,000 to “cover lost wedding costs, to pay bills, and to send us on our dream honeymoon.” She pledged to donate 10 percent of the money raised to Emanuel AME Church.

She and her fiance were to be married June 21, four days after her brother, 21-year-old Dylann Roof, allegedly gunned down nine worshippers attending a Bible study at the historic black church in an attempt to start a race war. [...]

On the page, Amber Roof had said her wedding was supposed to be “the day every girl dreams of,” with the perfect venue and vows ready to be read.

“It was suppose to start our lives together with our new family. Our day was the exact opposite. Our wedding day was full of sorrow, pain, and shame, tainted by the actions of one man,” she stated.
Naturally, her request for money has generated much lamentation and gnashing of teeth from those who cannot believe she would dare show her face after what her brother has done. Oh, they may claim that it is just crass and low class to try and recoup wedding costs after a such as "tragedy", but be logical - had her wedding been ruined by a thunderstorm blowing the roof off of the church where she was to be married, no one would bat an eyelid if she used GoFundMe to recoup the costs. They may not give her anything, but they wouldn't claim it was a moral outrage. This is simply vengefulness. One commenter even declared Roof-ette should get married at a courthouse and give all the money for her wedding to the AME Church. That commenter is getting geared up for reparations, I suppose.

To me, what Amber did was tacky, but not morally outrageous. Then again, I am rather immoral. What I find more disturbing is what it reveals about Dylann Roof's family life. To me, it is just more evidence the kid had no one who gave two fucks about him. His own sister raises money for a honeymoon while he rots in prison. She describes him as "one man", not "my brother". This after Roof's uncle Carson Cowles told the press, “He’s guilty as hell,” and "He'll get no sympathy from us." Nice.

I've heard White Whateverists say that not defending Roof is more evidence of the moral superiority of White people. That black family members of a killer always run to the press with their "dindus" defending the guilty. Morally upstanding White people, by contrast, won't lie to protect their kin. BULL...SHIT. White people won't stick up for their own because they are selfish cowards who don't want: 1) To suffer public scorn from guilt by association ("one man" not "my brother"), 2) Anything to interfere with their own lives ("no sympathy from us", ). God damn - you couldn't even be sympathetic enough to give Dylann the benefit of the doubt that he might have been led astray by some evil internet Nazis? What a bunch of assholes Dylann's family are!

  1. His sister is incredibly stupid, how did she think the kikes fags and niggers of the internet were going to react? i read that his dad is an alcoholic who beat him and his step mum,
if Dylan was my son and the kike press started asking me questions i would keep repeating "no comment"

    1. No comment would be a heck of a lot better than "guilty as hell."

In the picture at the link below, Dylann Roof's father walks around without his shirt on, hyper-tattooed and sporting nipple rings, making him look like some old queer pride-parader.
